This piece best fits the "Concept" section of the rubric because this project was all about coming up with ideas and iterating upon them.

This was an assignment that took words from a song and created logos from those concepts. The song that I picked was “Clint Eastwood” by Gorillaz. I started to narrow down words that I wanted to make concepts for. Then, I created rough sketches for them. We were not allowed to use any words or numbers in these concepts so that our peers could guess the concept by the drawing alone.

Then, I chose five of my favorite words from the list and refined and brainstormed how to improve my favorite icons from the category.

I created a physical version of my final designs before digitizing it in Illustrator.
